More and more organizers are choosing to allow exhibitors to apply or register electronically for trade fair participation. This means that the bookings are transferred directly to the software, where they can be processed further.
Possibilities of online registration
There are several ways to do this, which are listed below.
- Booking via a standard form that is integrated as an iFrame
- Booking via interest code. Codes can be generated for addresses of interested parties or old exhibitors stored in the system, so that the address data in the form is already pre-filled
- Booking via the hall plan
- Booking via data exchange, you can create your own form, in this case a JSON string has to be sent to profairs
- Booking via an individual form, which we build for you
With all variants, the data entered by the exhibitor is stored directly in profairs:
Bookings vs. inquiries
Whether to allow binding bookings or only booking inquiries is up to each organizer:
- If binding bookings are to be allowed, the exhibitor is directly linked to the correct trade fair type in the course of registration. The organizer must then add the stand.
- If the exhibitor can only make a booking request, the data will be saved as an interested party. If the exhibitor is admitted, the link to the correct trade fair must still be made and a stand assigned. In this case the contact form is suitable
